Fredrick Macharia
Fredrick Macharia runs Freha Enterprise from Nyeri. He buys and checks the hay, manure and silage, prices each order and arranges the transport to the farm.
Nyeri sits in the middle of some of Kenya's busiest dairy and horticulture country. Farmers here and in the counties around depend on bought feed in the dry months and on organic manure for their crops. Freha was set up to supply both from one place.
Most orders start with a WhatsApp message or a phone call. A farmer with two cows can buy a few bales. A ranch, a dairy group or a landscaper can book a full lorry.

The sign on our store in Nyeri says what we do. Hay is stacked under the roof, manure is heaped in the yard, and lorries load at the door. Transport is part of the service, so the same team that sells your order also delivers it.
